Release & Deliverance from Saul/the flesh
2
Samuel 22:1-8
And David spake unto the LORD the words of this song in the day
that the LORD had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies,
and out of the hand of Saul: And he said, The LORD is my rock,
and my fortress, and my deliverer; The God of my rock; in him
will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my
high tower, and my refuge, my saviour; thou savest me from violence.
I will call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall
I be saved from mine enemies.
The Lord is delivering
the Church from the ways of Saul. All the striving in the flesh
to try to do God’s will and desires is the way of Saul.
Everything that is birthed out of flesh focus on doing “good
things” that are not “God things”. But Jesus
did only what He saw the Father doing. It is in this place of
sensitivity, yeildedness and communion with the Holy Spirit that
we find deliverance from the ways of Saul. When we walk in the
ways of the Spirit our true identity and authority as sons of
God is revealed. All creation waits and longs for the revealing
of the children of God that the righteous judgment of God may
be executed upon those on the earth. This judgment is for a purpose.
The purpose is that the nations may come to Him for they are His
inheritance. We must also understand that the judgment of God
is an act of mercy, not a great display of God for the point of
being destructive and cruel for the sole purpose of judging sin.
But for God to bring us to the place of being revealed as His
children His righteousness must be revealed in us and through
us. Our righteousness is as filthy rags in His sight. We must
holy lean on His righteousness and take up His holiness into our
lives. We dare not trust the sweetest frame but wholly lean on
Jesus Name. With the pure garments provided by the Lamb of God
we walk in our true authority as sons and daughters of God. Our
lives are completely vested in Him.
The Righteous Judgment of God
1
Samuel 22:7
In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried to my God: and
he did hear my voice out of his temple, and my cry did enter into
his ears. Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations of
heaven moved and shook, because he was wroth.
Out of our lives devotion
to Him we will cry and He will hear and will answer. When He answers
He will shake the foundations of the earth. He will test what
things are made of, where man’s trust is. He will shake
the nations that they will cry out in desperation to Him. All
the things, the false gods that man has placed his trust in, will
be shaken and removed. Then man will be left bare naked with the
choice to cry our to God to be His source of life and security.
Deliverance
of God from Enemies Too Strong for Us
I
Samuel 22:18
He sent from above, he took me; he drew me out of many waters;
He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated
me: for they were too strong for me.
Our enemies are too strong
for us. But we are His ambassadors in the earth. As we find our
identity solely in Him, not in what we do or who we are in the
eyes of this world, but completely in our inheritance as His sons
and daughters His deliverance will be realized in our lives. It
is a profound and essential revelation to understand that our
enemies are too strong for us. Because in our flesh dwells no
good thing. There is no power in our lives apart from Him. He
is our Source. Only by abiding in Him can we realize the victory
set apart for us. He is the Vine. We are the branches. Our power
and strength lies in the Vine, who is Christ – The Anointed
One. It is not my might, nor by power, but by My Spirit says the
Lord. Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes the flesh
his strength.
Children of the Most High/God’s
Agents in the Earth
PSALM
82
God standeth in the congregation of the mighty; he judgeth among
the gods. How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons
of the wicked? Selah Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice
to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them
out of the hand of the wicked. They know not, neither will they
understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the
earth are out of course. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of
you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men,
and fall like one of the princes. Arise, O God, judge the earth:
for thou shalt inherit all nations.
As the children of God
we execute the merciful judgment of God in the earth at His command.
Again, we must realize that the only reason the Lord brings shaking
is to bring repentance that the nations may be gathered to Him
as His inheritance. We are entering an extraordinary time when
God will be using us to perform various signs that will cause
the world to wonder and stand in awe of God. The Lord is jealous
for the nations, the fullness of His inheritance. (Psalm
82:8)
Punishment to the Pride of Man
ISAIAH 24:18
And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of
the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of
the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows
from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake.
The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved,
the earth is moved exceedingly. The earth shall reel to and fro
like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the
transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall,
and not rise again. And it shall come to pass in that day, that
the LORD shall punish the host of the high ones that are on high,
and the kings of the earth upon the earth. And they shall be gathered
together, as prisoners are gathered in the pit, and shall be shut
up in the prison, and after many days shall they be visited. Then
the moon shall be confounded, and the sun ashamed, when the LORD
of hosts shall reign in mount Zion, and in Jerusalem, and before
his ancients gloriously.
The Lord will lay low the
pride of man. All the things man has trusted in concerning worldly
wealth, his intellect and self-sufficiency will all be brought
to nothing. He will humble man with His mighty hand that man may
know that there is One God in heaven who rules over the nations
with an iron scepter. The Lord is King and will reveal Himself
in this way.
His Words Placed in Us
ISAIAH
51:6
And I have put my words in thy mouth, and I have covered thee
in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and
lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, Thou art
my people.
Just as the Lord Jesus
told us to pray His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven, this
is the very chief desire of God’s heart. He desires to plant
the heaven’s in the earth. Our mouths are the vehicle He
uses to plan the heaven’s here. He desires to put His words
in our mouths that we would forsake our own. We have the divine
privilege of being the mouthpiece of God in the earth, the evangels
of God.
We are His divine messengers.
Not only to see the heaven’s planted but to be the vessels
through whom He can lay the foundations of the earth. Foundations
speak of stability, strength and heaven’s solid rock. Jesus
said that he who builds his house upon my words shall not be moved.
All adversity may come upon that house but it would stand because
it was built upon the foundation of His words.
He puts His Words in our
mouths that He may say to Zion, His people, through us. This means
we are speaking the destiny life of God into His Body that the
revelation of who they are in Him may be realized. There is a
great need for the Body of Christ to see who they are in Him.
The identity that has been freely given to us through the sacrifice
of Jesus on the cross must be seen. We must know that we are the
“marked ones” set apart as “Holy to the Lord”
for His purposes. We are a peculiar people called to bring the
revelation of Jesus Christ to the people of the earth. Through
knowing Him, knowing who we are in our true identity in Christ
and knowing our call and mandate we will be the vessels God uses
to plant the heavens and lay the foundations in the earth.
